Deendayal Janaseva Prathisthan
Deendayal Jana Seva Prathisthan was formed in February 2020 for undertaking various projects of social welfare. All the directors of Deendayal multipurpose cooperative society are the trustees of the of this trust.
a. Medical Field
1. Deendayal Ayurvedic Clinic
Trust has started Deendayal Ayurvedic Clinic and Wellness Centre and now this clinic is visited by ayurvedacharya Dr. Suvinay Damle and other renowned doctors catering to more than 300 patients every month and it is increasing day by day.
2. Hospital project
The trust now proposed to set-up a state of art hospital at Bicholim on the land admeasuring 4000 square meters already acquired. The proposed Hospital is 50 beded hospital to cover Ayurvedic and Allopathy treatment. This Hospital will operate on no profit no loss basis and proposes to provide best possible treatment at very reasonable cost. Estimated cost of the project is about 17 crores. The hospital is expected to be ready by December 2024.
3. Tele medicine and mobile medical unit
Deendayal Jana Seva Pratishthan is running mobile medical unit to Cater to the people of North Goa district and border town of Maharashtra mobile medical Van is equipped with trained medical officers and nurses along with facilities like consultation room, pharmacy, mini clinical lab, portable x-ray and USG set up, specialized OPD set up etc. there is good response for this venture from all the neighboring villages/towns where is mobile vans is utilized.
b. Education Field
The trust has started Shishuvatika n July 2001 and thereafter by acquiring government primary school building at Bicholim started a primary school from standard 1st to standard IV providing quality education for all round development of the students. There is good response and enrolment of students is increasing every year.
